DMCA Notice

At AfroMusicKings, we respect the intellectual property rights of others and expect our users and content partners to do the same. In accordance with the Digital Millennium Copyright Act (DMCA), we have established the following procedures for handling copyright infringement claims.

If you believe that your copyrighted work has been used or made available on AfroMusicKings in a way that constitutes copyright infringement, please provide our designated agent with a written notice containing the following information:

DMCA Takedown Notice Requirements

To be effective under the DMCA, your notice must include:

  6. A statement that the information in the notice is accurate, and under penalty of perjury, that the complaining party is authorized to act on behalf of the copyright owner.

Counter-Notification

If you believe that content you uploaded or shared on AfroMusicKings was removed or disabled as a result of a mistake or misidentification, you may send us a counter-notification.

To be effective, a counter-notification must include:

  1. Your physical or electronic signature.

  2. Identification of the content that has been removed or disabled and its location before removal.

  3. A statement under penalty of perjury that you have a good faith belief the material was removed or disabled as a result of mistake or misidentification.

  4. Your name, address, telephone number, and a statement that you consent to the jurisdiction of the federal court in your district (or the district where our service provider is located) and will accept service of process from the person who submitted the original DMCA notice.

Repeat Infringers

AfroMusicKings reserves the right to terminate, in appropriate circumstances, the accounts of users who are repeat infringers or who repeatedly submit infringing content.
